Room Essentials is the primary Target brand I create print and pattern for. Room Essentials has historically been associated as a value focused back to school brand with a flat vector art style. As the print designer at Target, I have pushed to adapt the Room Essentials aesthetic to still retain a graphic hand, but introduce more expressive and techniques from from brushwork, collage, and bold colors to liven up the brand aesthetic.
